Materials:

1 Basketball (standard or junior sized) 
Plastic wrap 
1 Brick of Floral Foam 
1 Dozen fresh-cut flowers (choose your favorite flowers) in your teams' colors 
Teacup saucer 
Floral preservative 
Floral clippers and knife 
Scissors 
Sharp knife 

Directions: 
Step 1 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2 - With a sharp knife, carefully make a long slit in the basketball. Use scissors to make the slit large enough to accommodate the floral foam.

Step 3 - Line the inside of the basketball with plastic wrap and cut the floral foam to fit inside the basketball. Set the floral foam inside the basketball.

Step 4 - Cut the flowers to approximately 5-inches in length and insert flowers into the basketball. Set the basketball full of flowers on a teacup saucer to stabilize it
